Kern County’s Legal Excellence: Chain | Cohn | Clark Leads With ‘Best Lawyers’ Recognitions

Four lawyers at Chain | Cohn | Clark have been recognized in the 2024 Best Lawyers in America program, the oldest and among the most respected attorney ranking services in the world.

Attorney David K. Cohn was selected into the personal injury litigation category of the Best Lawyers program, while attorney James A. Yoro was selected into the workers’ compensation law listings. Both are “of counsel” at Chain | Cohn | Clark, and have been selected each year since 2018.

Personal injury lawyer and partner Chad Boyles was selected for inclusion in the 2024 Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list for the fourth year. Workers’ compensation lawyer and partner Beatriz Trejo was also selected for inclusion in the “Ones to Watch” list — this is her first year being selected. This recognition is given to attorneys who are earlier in their careers (5 to 10 years in practice) for outstanding professional excellence in private practice in the United States.

This year, Chain | Cohn | Clark is the only law firm in the Kern County area with a workers’ compensation attorney listed, and the only law firm in Kern County with more than two attorneys recognized.

For this 31st edition of Best Lawyers in America and 5th edition of Ones to Watch in America, more than 23 million votes were analyzed by program officials. These prestigious recognitions highlight outstanding legal talent and represent the top 5% of lawyers across the United States, providing invaluable guidance to clients and legal professionals, according to the program.
