Plaintiff was sexually assaulted by a teacher at a Kern Valley High School. The teacher, Christopher David Renaudo, was charged with five felony counts including sex offenses with a minor.

Confronted with sexually explicit messages and a video sent from his account, Renaudo admitted to engaging in sex acts with a student inside a classroom. He was arrested after the victim reported he sexually assaulted her on three occasions after asking her to stay behind after class. Renaudo remains behind bars while his criminal case is ongoing.
