Our client was removing trash from a single-story home roof where a crew had been working. As the crew concluded its work for the day, he unclipped his fall harness to climb down a ladder from the roof to the floor. As he walked toward the ladder, the client slopped on a piece of paper sitting on top of a plywood board, and fell forward off the roof, landing face down. He suffered injuries to his head, eyes, nose, shoulders, chest, ribs, and left foot. He underwent nose and eye surgery and suffered memory loss as well.
