In 2013 and 2014, the people of Bakersfield and Kern County graciously voted Chain | Cohn | Clark as the “Best Law Firm” in the area.
With the New Year upon us, it’s time once again for local residents to vote for the best people, places and things in Kern County, in the 2015 “Best of Kern County” contest — The Bakersfield Californian’s Readers’ Choice Poll.
Chain | Cohn | Clark has been nominated once again for the “Best Law Firm” category, and is asking you to vote for our law firm in the category once again.
Additionally, Chain | Cohn | Clark managing partner David Cohn has been nominated again this year in the “Best Lawyer” category. He was voted “Best Lawyer” in 2013, and as a “favorite” in 2014. Cohn would also appreciate your vote in 2015.
The 2015 “Best of Kern County” competition kicked off on Jan. 5, and voting will continue until 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 25.
Here’s how you can vote:
- Visit the official “Best of Kern County” website at www.BestofKern.com, and login, or sign up and register if you’ve never voted before.
- Click “Ballot” and vote for your choice in each category, including Chain | Cohn | Clark as “Best Law Firm” and David K. Cohn as “Best Lawyer” — both under the “Services” category.
- Once you click on “vote,” your vote is cast — no need to do anything else. To change your vote, simply click “vote” on a different nominee.
Please note that this year, the contest has some new changes from previous years:
According to the Best Of Kern County website: “Our new, simplified balloting system will allow you to vote once each day, and to add nominees in any category you wish. New nominees will be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness and added to the ballot on the next available business day.”
Being nominated for three years in a row for “Best Law Firm” and “Best Lawyer” is a huge honor, said managing partner David Cohn. The two categories were added to the contest in 2013.
“The recognition would not be possible without all of you – the people of Kern County. Thank you for acknowledging the hard work our attorneys and staff put in every day. Thank you for allowing us to serve Kern County for the last 80 years.”
Cohn continued: “Our passion is to bring justice and protect the rights of local residents who have been seriously injured due to the negligent, reckless or intentional conduct of another. We also strive to assist local residents in need with their workers’ compensation* cases. Once again, thank you for trusting us to stand for you.”
The final results are released each year in the May issue of Bakersfield Life Magazine.
