BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. – Chris Hagan, a veteran local attorney with more than 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer, has been named a partner at Kern County’s oldest accident and injury law firm Chain | Cohn | Clark.
Chris has worked as an attorney locally since 2003, and at Chain | Cohn | Clark as an associate attorney since 2022. Prior to joining the law firm, he provided litigation services for insurance companies, public entities, and private businesses with a focus on personal injury, insurance defense, public entity liability, and employment litigation.
At Chain | Cohn | Clark, Hagan has brough with him a deep knowledge of the law for the benefit of injured people in Kern County, while taking clients’ concerns as a priority, keeping them informed and being responsive to their needs.

For his legal work, Chris has earned several accolades and distinctions, including being named as a Super Lawyer, an honor bestowed upon only the top 5% of lawyers in the region. An AVVO rating of 10/10, as well as a Martindale-Hubbell AV preeminent rating, the highest ratings awarded by each of the legal directories. He’s also dedicated to community service, serving as past president of the Kern County Bar Association and of its Charitable Foundation, on the board of directors for Boy Scouts of America and Garces Memorial High School, and board president for Bakersfield Youth Lacrosse League.
