The woman accused of striking and killing a brother and sister in south Bakersfield while driving under the influence in 2021 has accepted a plea deal to two counts of second-degree murder. Lisa Core entered no-contest pleas to second-degree murder charges and faces 15 years to life in prison at next month’s sentencing, according to media reports.
