California’s 2025 Auto Insurance Overhaul: Double Your Coverage, Double Your Protection


California’s new auto insurance law goes into effect on Jan. 1. Senate Bill 1107, also known as the Protect California Drivers Act, is designed to provide accident victims with more protection by doubling the minimum liability coverage limit to thirty and sixty thousand for bodily injury or death of a person.
